Even in the Oklahoma heat, I’d still prefer outdoor training than training in a gym, especially with all of the cool tools out on the market today. Pictured here, I have one of my clients, tennis athlete Austin Hoose, hitting his workout using a tree, the TRX Rip Trainer, and two tubes (heavier and lighter).
His goal for the workout was power endurance. This means lighter weight and more functional-based movement (i.e. different plans of motion). He performed each exercise for 30 seconds with 15 seconds to move to the next exercise. He performed the circuit 5x with one minute rest in between each circuit.

Consider finding a tree and adding in various equipment like the TRX Suspension Trainer or vary the tubes from every angle (high on branches as shown or low wrapped around the tree). Lastly, when was the last time you CLIMBED a tree?! Check the branch strength first, then go for it!
